Helping new mothers experience a supported and nourished postpartum.

Mama, how would motherhood be, feeling energised, confident, and fully nourished while caring for your family?

Tara Yewdall doula

Hi, I’m Tara and I provide you with essential nutrition and support as you navigate the early years of motherhood.

Motherhood can be tough. And I’m here to help you thrive despite the rollercoaster.

How would it feel to know you’ve got someone guiding you to bring back or maintain your health, energy and sanity while you navigate early postpartum and beyond?

I know what being a tired, hungry, emotional and exhausted mama feels like. I’ve been there. 5 times, in fact.

That’s why I was on a journey to understand why my body changed so much, and what I needed to get back on track.

Whether you need some nourishing meal and snack ideas, a whole done-for-you meal plan, breastfeeding support, or help with gathering your tribe, I can help you.

You don’t have to keep skipping meals, snacking on whatever’s in the pantry or worry if your baby is getting the best from your breastmilk.

You see, most people will tell us mums that it’s ‘normal’ to feel exhausted, hormonal, suffer with daily reflux or have hair falling out more than your pet molting.

But the truth is: It’s NOT normal. Common, yes.

There are many things you haven’t been told, and it’s not your fault.
You’re healing on the inside, leaking on the outside and have hormones going in all directions.

This isn’t ordinary postpartum care that I offer.

Whether you have a newborn, or a toddler or older, if you’re craving the energy to enjoy your family without the hourly coffee boosts and be the mama you pictured being before conceiving, you’re in the right place.

Healthy, nourished, supported mums means healthy families, and that means healthy communities.

That’s my mission.

So, what next?

Women in my space feel energised, calm, and like they are thriving.

Let’s chat about the best way to support you.

Being prepared for the time after birth matters more than you realise

Tara helped me to feel prepared for my 4th baby

Being my fourth baby I wanted to be prepared and organised this time. I’ve struggled with my energy levels each postpartum especially with having toddlers to look after but this time it was totally different. Following the meal plan made me feel energised again and I was able to bounce back much faster than usual. I also have a less fussy and more content baby. Knowing what foods to eat and what not to eat made my recovery and transition into motherhood again much easier. It’s something I plan to stick to long after my postpartum, nourishing my body with rich warming foods.

I am so glad I participated

I found it incredibly helpful and I am so glad I participated. At the end of the day I am a lot more settled about entering motherhood and feel well educated and supported.

I highly recommend her service to anyone who is getting ready for the arrival of a newborn

To be able to ask Tara questions I had about breastfeeding, planning support and my wellbeing after birth was a big relief and assistance to me emotionally, and mentally. Tara made me feel comfortable and was very approachable in discussing any anxieties or topics I had in mind. Her flexibility when circumstances changed, her succinct and clear way of sharing her knowledge and her caring nature all made the process an enjoyable and worthwhile learning for me. There were many ‘gold nuggets’ I definitely picked up over the six sessions with Tara.

I would highly recommend this course

Tara’s warmth and approachability helped me to develop confidence and prepare for the breastfeeding journey. Her knowledge and thoroughness have equipped me with invaluable tools and I now feel excited about breastfeeding our little one. I really enjoyed the flexibility of learning online, knowing that I also have a follow up one-on-one session to cement any learning. The content was thorough. I really enjoyed learning the practical skills and, as a visual learner, the demonstrations. Access to the meditation and support network contacts is also very valuable. Thank you Tara!
